Last November we shared a great way to give back to local nursing home and retirement homes in the form of Comfort Cuffs. This November we are taking on another similar type thing. This November we will be sharing patterns for Winter Items. This project is often called Warm Up the City or something of that nature. The main goal of this is to create items for homeless people or people who need a warm hat, scarf, mittens, things of that nature.
A lot of times people will leave these items around their city with a note saying, "Take me if you need me", or they donate them to local charities that do so.
