The twenty-first Chapter of Cinder was a long one compared to the last few. It starts with Cinder in her workshop. She is growing discouraged with restoring the car she found because it needs a lot more work than she first figured. As she's taking a break, Cinder decides to start working on the Prince's bot.
She and Iko discover that someone has added a chip to the bots system and was probably the cause of the problem in the first place. Cinder tries to find who is on the other end of the communication chip, but there is no answer. After having its system restored to normal, Prince Kai's bot comes back to life and starts talking.
