The sixth chapter of Cinder is where the story really starts to develop. We follow Cinder on her way back to the apartment she shares with her Step-Mother and Step-Sisters. The whole time walking home she wonders how exactly she is going to tell her family.
When she finally gets home she sees the rest of her family in the living room and three med-droids are in their house. It is clear already that Cinder's remaining step-sister and step-mother have already found out that Peony has been taken. Ultimately the chapter ends with Adri telling the med-droids and Cinder that she has volunteered Cinder as a test subject.
