The eight chapter was very different then what we are used to. We start off by reading about a dream or hallucination that Cinder is having. She is in a desert, her mechanical parts removed and it seems as if she is slowly dying from the heat. When she awakes she is in the clinic still.
As the chapter continues we see what they intend to do with Cinder. Or the beginnings of it. We also learn a little more about how Cinder came to be who she is. We also get told what the Doctor has planned for Cinder and the process they have gone through to find a cure.
1) What similarities to Cinderella do you see?
2) What do you think the significance of Cinder's dream is?
3) Do you think this is fair to Cinder?
4) What do you think the chances are that this will work?
