So we are ready to start our Crochet Along (CAL). Of course you can knit these graphs, or cross stitch them or plastic canvas them. We haven't explored those options for these graphs but they can easily be converted to those art forms.
Today we are going to give you a little more insight into what we are going to start with. We are going to work under the assumption that everyone is going to make every graph with that being said, you DO NOT by any means have to make them all. In the next four months we are going to share what we call "Character Graphs". That means they will all include the characters of the game, just in different forms. If you are only making one blanket, we encourage you to pick the four you prefer and make them. This will be the center for layout 1 and layout 2. If you want to make layout 3, these graphs will help form a border. If you want graphs as a border we encourage you to make four of your favourite also. If not you do not need to make any of these.
Now we encourage everyone to wait until the end to assemble things. This way if you are making more than one project you can lay things out and make sure you like the way things look and you can make changes and rearrange graphs before you sew them all together. But with that being said, CAL's are LONG and sometimes you want to make projects right away and be rewarded for your work. These character graphs make the perfect size for scarves. We will explain more at the end and give layouts and such but if you simply can't wait! Please feel free to explore the options of scarf making.
One last quick note, sometimes we will release two graphs on the same day. This is because they are basically the same with just a small design difference. Some of them you can pick which you prefer and just make that one (usually this is a cloud in the sky versus no cloud or what something originally looked like verses what we find looks better). If there are two photos that should both be crocheted we will make that in the post so that you don't miss out on any elements of this CAL.
With that, we are excited to start our CAL next week!! We hope you all enjoy and come find us on Facebook or tag us on Instagram or Twitter with your finished graphs!!
