This week I am not really sure what happened to our meals. I ordered five but we only ended up having three of them. I think what happened at least with the chicken is that the meat was rotten by the time we went to use it. Unfortunately, this happens from time to time and we had to switch to the leftover chicken we already had. (I have complained a couple of times to them and didn't get any reply back.)
The other meal was just a salad and no one ate that but me so I made it as a side instead of Sweet potatoes for the Cheddar Crusted Chicken. It was actually pretty good, it came with Green Beans too and they were a nice addition. I found that the chicken tasted like one of those stuffed chicken breasts you can buy in the store. Sometimes they come with Garlic Butter other times with Cheese and Broccoli. It was very good actually.
This week we also had the Mediterranean Falafel Bowl with Kale Freekeh Tabbouleh and Za'atar Carrots. There is no meat in this dish but man is it filling. And it is so good. We have had it before and we just love it. And it is so simple to make. Especially if you have a Lebanese place around you or anywhere that sells Falafel you can easily make this at home.
And finally, we also had the Caramelized Onion Burgers. One thing I have realized lately with ordering burgers is that it's not really worth it. You can probably make burgers for much cheaper and get double what you would get with HelloFresh. While it is a good option when you see the stores are running low on ground beef (like what happened a few times turning the pandemic), it really doesn't make sense once you can easily get ground beef again. But they were still good. It's one of those dishes you really can't dislike. You make it yourself so if there is something you don't like you just don't add it.
