The Nintendo Switch is Nintendo's latest home console system. Released on March 3, 2017 world wide the Nintendo Switch comes with a twist. It is able to Switch between a home console, and a portable game system.
The Nintendo Switch has 3 modes. Home Console mode where it can be played on a television. Handheld mode where it can be played without a TV, and table top mode, where the console is set up on a table top with the built in kickstand and played with a friend on the go.
The main controller for the Nintendo Switch is the joycons. They work differently depending on the game and mode the console is in. They can be treated like a traditional controller. a wiimote style controller, or they can be split into two and used as separate controllers with a friend. In handheld mode, the joycons attach to each side on the tablet, allowing it to become a more traditional handheld.
