For my first blog post I would love to talk about Speech Bubble. Speech Bubble is a podcast hosted by Fairly Odd Parents creator Butch Hartman and co-hosted by Jace Diehl. They talk about a variety of topics including animation history including Butch Hartman’s personal experiences working at Disney Animation, Hanna-Barbera, and Nickelodeon. Other topics include current entertainment, such as movie and television reviews, and news in the industry. Butch Hartman also discusses how to become an animator in the very competitive industry. Speech Bubble is comedic but incredibly informative.
Speech Bubble is available Thursdays on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, and Soundcloud. A video version of the podcast is available in segments on Butch Hartman’s YouTube Channel.
