Review Wednesday - The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger

This is my favourite book of all time, The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. I read this book before the movie came out, and even if you have seen the movie, the book gives so much more (like most books do). You will fall in love all over again with Henry and Claire. The book offers some details and scenes that weren't in the movie, just is common with most book to movie conversions. They either don't have the time or the scenes no matter how good weren't relevant enough to add in. Which is sad because some of the scenes (especially) in this book are beautiful.

Ultimately, the book is based on Henry, the Time Traveler. Henry, travels through his lifetime and sees certain times and places in his life that he has either lived already or will live. And one of the most prominent places he keeps popping up is the Abshire's backyard (or field behind their house). From a young age Claire has known Henry and it didn't take long to fall in love with the mysterious time traveler. The only thing Claire has ever know is waiting for Henry to show back up.

But Henry knows something Claire doesn't know just yet. And that is, eventually they will find each other in both their present times. Claire and Henry's relationship have a lot of ups and downs, more so than any other relationship because of the Time Traveling thing and how their relationship grows and works with such an unreliable life together.
